Planmeca Imprex™ is a mobile scanning station featuring a high-quality touch screen, which allows you to capture intraoral scans in an ergonomic working position and visualise treatment data to your patients. With the Planmeca Imprex mobile scanning station, you can place your Planmeca Emerald® S intraoral scanner close to any dental unit thanks to its unique tripod construction, which allows moving and rotating the scanning station freely. The medical-grade system is optimally suited for all treatment environments.

Planmeca Imprex is an outstanding tool for patient communication, allowing you to engage your patients by visualising oral health conditions and treatment plans on the high-quality touch screen of the scanning station. With Planmeca Imprex, your patients can view their digital impressions, X-ray images and other treatment data while sitting comfortably on the patient chair.

Streamlined scanning workflow

Planmeca Imprex has an integrated high-performance PC with a pre-installed Planmeca Romexis® suite and plenty of calculation power for carrying out digital workflows. Thanks to built-in LAN and Wi-Fi connections, the intraoral scans are saved to the Romexis database and can even be sent to external partners or dental laboratories directly from the scanning station. Planmeca Imprex thus eliminates the need for a separate laptop for capturing digital impressions, streamlining the scanning process as well as scan-and-send workflows.

Optimal scanning ergonomics

Mounted on a 50 cm monitor arm, the high-quality touch screen of Planmeca Imprex can be easily positioned to suit different working positions from 9 to 15 o’clock. The height, angle and position of the touch screen can be adjusted to support optimal scanning ergonomics, regardless of whether your are sitting or standing or right- or left-handed. Supported by a tripod instead of four legs, the scanning station seamlessly fits into various clinic layouts without legs getting in the way of the dental team. The raised legs also allow you to position your feet comfortably beneath the tripod.

Planmeca Imprex has been crafted in harmony with Planmeca’s design philosophy with a recognisable look and feel combining form and function. The integrated PC of the scanning station resides within a curved cover, which not only ensures efficient cooling of the system but also contributes to a compact appearance. The tripod construction makes it easy to use Planmeca Imprex in any clinical setup, as the station can be moved and rotated freely.

Thanks to its unique tripod construction and wheels, Planmeca Imprex can be easily shared between multiple users and treatment rooms. With one leg pointing forward, the tripod allows close-up access for users during transport, enhancing mobility. The sleek and slim scanning station adapts to different clinical layouts and can be placed close to any dental unit regardless of its brand. Thanks to its small footprint, Planmeca Imprex is also easy to store when it is not in use. The station can be disinfected with wipes for optimal infection control.
