Our Planmeca Romexis® Smile Design digital smile design software is ideal for simulating smiles, planning treatments and communicating efficiently. It is available for both Mac and Windows and does not require any additional equipment or software to function – offering intuitive tools for designing beautiful and natural smiles at the first patient visit.
Romexis Smile Design is quick and simple to use. It only takes a few minutes to design a smile with a 2D face photo and intelligent tooth silhouettes. The software allows you to manipulate the position, shape and dimensions of each tooth individually to achieve the optimal look and fit.
An image always tells more than 1000 words, so establishing and explaining realistic expectations is easy with the Romexis Smile Design software. When patients see a visualisation of their new smile before committing to their treatment, they feel engaged and included right from the start.
Romexis Smile Design is about way more than simulating new smiles. The software helps you communicate visually and numerically with other specialists and dental labs to determine the correct treatment option for your patient and to ensure that the established goals are always reached.
You can easily export completed digital smile designs to any CAD/CAM software to present different treatment options and actually put the plans into practice. The 2D design acts as a visual guide or reference when designing physical mock-ups or the final restoration itself.
Sending designs to other specialists, dental labs or patients is flexible and secure via the Planmeca Romexis® Cloud image transfer service or the Planmeca mRomexis™ mobile application. Completed designs show the patient’s face, planned smile and related measurements, and can also include an intraoral image.
We offer a wide range of support materials to help users make the most of their experience with Romexis Smile Design. These include tutorial videos, webinars, quick guides and case studies.
“My patients have also been very pleased to be able to genuinely be part of the process from the start. When the expectations and plans have been carefully reviewed to start with, the end result will more likely meet the expectations of the patient.”
